Looking for MCLE credits to help you demonstrate competence under California Rules of Court, rule 5.664 (AB 703)? Or just want to be up on the latest developments in California juvenile justice and build your knowledge in specific areas of the law?

PJDC’s Roundtable brings together juvenile advocates from around California for a full day of professional education, networking and celebration of our work. This year’s event will offer case law and legislative updates, as well as workshops in critical areas of juvenile law and policy, including SB 395 (best practices, data collection, litigating interrogations), holistic representation (CCR/AB-12, record sealing), juvenile transfer, youthful offenders, and writs and appellate advocacy.

The $125 registration fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, MCLE** certificate, and conference materials. An Early Bird registration rate of $100 will be available through August 22 (registration and payment must be received by this date). More information on presentations and workshops, and how to register are coming soon. Watch for the announcement on the PJDC listserv or check the PJDC web site at www.pjdc.org. Questions? Please contact Eileen Manning-Villar (eileen@pjdc.org).

This training is made possible through the generous support of the van Löben Sels Rembe/Rock Foundation and the Law Offices of the San Bernardino County Public Defender.

** MCLE INFORMATION: PJDC certifies that this activity conforms to the standards of approved education activities prescribed by the rules and regulations of the State Bar of California governing Minimum Continuing Legal Education.
